there are lots of 285/75R18s available and it is a great size. the extra +5 aspect ratio wont change much.

Out of the 4 rigs I own, my old TJ is the only one that can still fit 16" rims over the brakes. Everything else requires at least 17"

yep, ^^^ my favourite feature about TJs were the 15x7 steel rims.

I run the 285/75 now. It is good. A touch taller is always nice.

285/80-R18 tires are 1.12 inches (28.5 mm) larger in diameter than 285/75-R18 tires and the speedometer difference is 3.1%
