(I rarely access FB, don’t have an account of my own…but one odd thing I’ve noticed is the sellers of vehicles too often don’t feel it’s relevant to post mileage 🤣)

If one takes the time to type "high mileage" then just choose to type the actual mileage instead. Leaves you wondering what else they're not disclosing.

I was just about to say the same thing. How stupid is that? Just put the mileage. Even if you don't know specifically put it generally, it will still get the point across for most shoppers.

Looks like it’s already pending which doesn’t surprise me. That’s a good price if things check out as already suggested.

Is 8.1 the correct size of the engine? If yes, that seems pretty big.

Yes, the 8.1 Vortec is Chevy's big block beast of the recent past. It's a very, very good engine but pretty thirsty and not very common. Made for those who want diesel torque/power but didn't want a Duramax for whatever strange reason.

Maybe the price reflects the high mileage?

What level of "off road" usage can this kind of vintage Tiger successfully navigate, all things being equal?

We have this rig in crew cab it does pretty well off-road. We did the Red & White Mountain Road outside Vail,CO last year and have done some other moderate trails. We regularly drive forest service side roads and get into tricky dispersed spots. I have a extensive background off road and appreciate the challenge of navigating a big RV on such trails. Limiting factor is your height, keep a saw and lopers on hand to trim overhead because you will be the tallest thing going down many trails. The 8.1 Allison setup is very underrated. I grew up around diesel trucks and thought I would hate the 8.1 but it's pretty damn nice I have to admit. If you want to drive 75-85mph expect 9mpg but if you can chill around 65 or even less you will be reward with 11 maybe 12 mpg with the wind. Been working my ass off lately hardly been able to go out. :(
