I just picked up a wolf box 850 pro. I have some Best Buy store credit so I figured it was a smart purchase.

I haven’t fully installed it yet, but I did hook it up to check it out. Very impressed with it so far. It’s going to be so nice to be able to see behind me now!

Darn... I bought a digital mirror for my truck as I got tired of not being able to use my rear view mirror (see photo of my rig) just a few months ago. In early driving tests, it works great although it seems to fill the SD card up really quickly. I'm going to connect my phone to the mirror via the app in the next few days and see if I can figure out why. It might be that the timer on the mirror that shows how much time is being recorded, is based on clips and they reset but I'm not sure.

I started the full install on mine yesterday. A Wolfbox G850 Pro. My only complaint would be that the cable for the rear camera needs to be longer, especially if you’re going to advertise on a website where people have big campers on the back of their truck.

I don’t even have a massive truck, I have a 20 year-old 3/4 ton, which is smaller than current full-size trucks.

Even with the shortest route possible, the cable is at least a few feet too short. I had to buy an extension cable just to get it to even the rear of the truck.

After spending $170 it’s kind of annoying that I have to buy additional parts just to do a basic install and wait for them to arrive in the mail

What size cable did you end up with? While pricing one out I found that, in addition to a longer cable, the fuse tap to power the unit is an extra cost kit, also the module for parking monitor function is extra. Good news is the G900 will live-stream via wifi so I could monitor our surroundings from inside the camper but will need to figure out the power draw. Parking monitor function captures 1 shot/sec but not sure if that would be accessible via wifi as well. Anyone have a Wolfbox that knows the answer?
