This is a difficult choice, but sadly the right choice for our family. I bought this truck a year or so ago, am the second owner, and it is in exc condition, and 100% stock in LS trim, with only 36k miles.
Well, you may ask- what is so special about an '00 Suburban. How about the following facts:
-4L80E One ton tranny
-6.0 engine with cast iron heads (only year, and zero worry about head gaskets!!)
-Rear barn doors
-No 'Onstar' or Bose- this is huge as you can actually add components at your will- do a little research and see how important the lack of these options is.
-rear heat and a/c
-highly optioned truck with cruise, tilt, PW, PL, etc AND three row bench seats w/ front center folding for console- seats 9!! Or fold/remove/reconfigure
-did I mention <45k miles?!
-new factory leather interior w/ heated front seats (not yet hooked up as I have a couple surgeries recently, but only needs power supply/switches)

It has had all fluids flushed including tranny, diffs, etc, and then I found a new in box leather interior, which was fitted at the upholstery shop, with the addition of heated front seats. The whole truck looks fantastic, and appropriate for the miles. Next I fitted a set of H2 wheels (flutes painted black, flat surfaces/lips polished), and new 285/70-17 Cooper S/T-Maxx tires, load range E. I also had front keys fitted to level the stance, new Bilsteins all around, and rear Firestone airbags for added support and comfort. The truck is as solid as possible, and ready for years of service, and extremely flexible in it's uses.
I have decided to sell my JK-U, replacing it with an LR3, 3 row seating, and have found and bought an '03 7.3 F-250, making the 'burb an unnecessary expense. I absolutely love this truck, and know of no issues, and have not had a single problem with it since purchase- everything works as designed, both factory and add ons. I will post pics up soon, but she is dark blue metallic, and now with tan leather. I have even changed the OH console to the correct replacement with Homelink- yes, I am a bit OCD...
Price?? I will offer it here for a short time before going to Ebay, but a new one equipped like this is north of $55k!! With the miles and condition, as well as the upgrades, I am asking $16,950 OBRO- Ebay will be more.
Thanks for looking, Cheers!! (PM or email is best)

Here are a few pics, dirty truck, cloudy day- sorry, but I had a total shoulder replacement 2 weeks ago, so this is it for now. If you want something specific, I can get it, just may take a day or two...
(Please excuse the life jacket on the fence in the background)

Shipping is no biggie honestly.

Also, I have been asked if I have the original alloys which I do, and they are fitted with new 265s... So either set you want.

It is getting there but waay too slowly. I guess I underestimated the reality of the severity of the surgery. The first 6 weeks is just healing all the severed muscle and tendons. Then the fun rehab begins, but thanks for asking.
All well with you/yours?

We're all well thanks.

Our neighbor gal had a shoulder replacement...gosh...early 2011. She's doing really well, though as you say it certainly took a bit of rehab to get there.

Kids local to you moved into Indian Trail last year.

Best - KAA

They keep getting close, but haven't seen them yet ;-) They are always welcome to come for a visit- building a sold 110Tdi now, TReK inbound for resto, and a CT110 inbound for repower, so they want to come by second or third week in Feb to see some cool Rovers.
Cheers
