Did the classic 01-06 Chevy Silverado truck Z71 come with a fuel tank skid plate???
I have a 03 1500 HD and need a fuel tank skid pan.

I believe they do not - someone else can double check me on it. I do know that the skids on the nbs trucks were plastic/cheap metal so I'd go with aftermarket anyways.

Yeah, they came with a plastic “shield” more so than an actual "skid plate". As Mooneywa said the shield was just a plastic thing anyway where more durable pieces can be had in the aftermarket.

My 2002 z71 didn't have the fuel tank skid, but has factory steel engine and transfercase skids. Whats the part number for the fuel tank skid?
