I've been daydreaming / planning on going to a full size van for adventure/travel/camping duties for about three years now and am getting to the point where it kinda makes sense to pull the trigger.
Currently have an '03 Cummins powered Dodge 2500, and would be selling/trading it on whatever van I end up with.
I found an '03 E350 Quigly locally. Decent shape, 93k miles, V10, passenger model. I stopped in and took a look today, it's in decent shape, interior is nice, and undercarriage is in good shape, but there is a little rust on the body that would need to be repaired.
Does $7,500 sound reasonable for this?
I'd like to have 4x4 from the get-go rather than buy a 2wd and convert it later as funds are available because I want my wife to be comfortable (read: willing to) drive it in the winter.
What do you guys think?
Is the Quigley conversion as bad as gets made out to be on ExPo, or is it a good base to be improved with Ujoint bling when I outgrow it's capabilities?
Thanks for the feedback.
