Those are the tires for my son's off-road wheel chair. He has CP and is unable to move his arms and legs. We struggled for a year or so shoving his regular wheelchair through the dirt and sand. Finally we found a company that makes a chair for the beach. It also works great for the mountains. Since we live at the beach and spend lots of time in the deserts and mountians, this chair is an essential part of our gear. It takes up a lot of room, but the smiles it provides are worth the extra effort.

This sounds great as I have an Access Cab too and am having trouble figuring out a good storage solution. Did you put up pics? At the end of your post where you write, For your review:, there is nothing else, at least on my computer.

Thanks,

David

When ExPo upgraded the server some pics were lost. I will see if I can dig those up and repost them.

I just bought a plastic, TRUCK TRUNK from walmart and bolted it down. It works great for what I need it for and has a lockable lid and is from what I can tell weatherproof. The only thing is that it cannot sit right up against the front of the bed or you can't open the lid. But I just use that area to string my tow rope back and forth across the bed and it is out of the way too. Oh and it was only $40. And I have a softop shell and it will open up inside.

Can you please post a picture or a link for this? I tried Google and searching WalMart's web site and got nothing.

I can get a pic for you, but I did notice that when I was in Billings,MT in the walmart they had a bunch of these for sale. And I also realized it is not called a truck trunk. Is a smart box or something like that....I will have to look and take a pic of it and the name.. But it is a black plastic box.....

At last! Found these pics of the Pelican 1620. I took the wheel / handle assembly off for more room and better fit. If you go this route, DO NOT put the screws back into their holes in the case. They are too long and will punch a hole through to the inside. Ask me how I know...

I have a couple soft canvas tool bags with a few other larger items and a couple of the 1000 series Pelican cases to keep thing organized and accessible in the 1620. Good setup - no rattles - lockable and very easy to use.
