Dual battery set up

This link worked this afternoon. I called them, we chatted for some time about their products.

They use two Odyssey pc1200 batteries for the later model Tacomas, fitting where the stock battery is. They also have a very similar set up for the FJ Cruiser although the FJ guys have a wider choice of batteries.

Looks like a nice way to go if money isn't particularly an issue. They quoted me $850 complete (and they do mean complete - including an installation special tool or two.)

Of course this does include the two Odyssey batteries.

Thanks for the heads up. I've done a handful of Tacomas, FJC's and 4Runners using the PC1200's and a custom tray but I might have to look them up the next time, the time I spend building a custom mount might be mitigated by just using one of their kits. Looks like they are using a kit 'similar' to the NW Wranger controlled system for battery management.

Thought I'd update this for those interested in the Columbia Overland Gen 2 Tacoma Dual Battery Tray. It is now available, more info Here.
