I would like to try the KM2 in 255/85 when they come out later this year and compare them to the current BFG M/T.

Thanks for the kind words! You folks obviously have very good taste.

Did a little bit of wheeling Sunday afternoon and was mightily impressed! Heads and shoulders over the AT's in the mud / snow melt Colorado finds itself buried in this time of year. They are bit noisy but some spray on rubberized undercoating in the rear fender wells went a long way to hushing whine. Wish it would work on my girlfriend...

Did you regear your Taco after upgrading to 255/85/16 size tires? I'm asking because my inlaws live in Evergreen (which sounds like the area you describe when you say near Denver), so I'll be making frequent trips up the hill and before I go to that size I was hoping to get some feedback on tall tires and high altitude. I know tall tires will slow me down a bit going up I-70, but I don't want to have to drive in the right lane all the way up the hill either. My truck is a 2008 Double cab with the off road and towing packages.

I am near Evergreen. If you have the 4.0 and 5 speed auto you will be in 4th all the way but otherwise just fine. I did not regear.
