Current bid is actually $25K... Strange that there is no offer to inspect the vehicle.

I live around Mpls and I sent the seller an email about local inspection. Pending the response, I'll let you guys know if anyone is interested.

I just sent the seller an email about the vehicle and arranging inspection as I'm very interested in it.

Lawrence, if this progresses would you be willing to do an inspection for me? I'd gladly compensate you for your time so just let me know. Thanks!

No problem, I'd be happy to do it since it's becoming a habit lately. A friend of mine lives in OR and asked me to look at bike for him locally. I went there, called him while I was looking at it, emailed him some specific pics, and told him I'd stick it in my garage until he comes to drive it back home. I think he is close to making a deal and he is looking forward to riding it cross country. :D Let me know if I can help.

Edit: BTW, there is no emissions in MN, so this is something to consider if you live in a state/county that has emissions laws.

"[the seller] is local to me. I haven't seen this one personally, but he is a mechanic at the Jeep Dealership that provides vehicles to www.burnsvilleoffroad.com. They are located across the street from each other, and burnsville is know for their engine swaps.

Lots of the techs at the dealership have cool vehicles, and most are built right."

Very cool!

Indeed... I received a bit more info: The owner's name is Scott and he his a tech at Park Chrysler Jeep. He has done other JKs in the past and some of the locals have high regards for his vehicles. However, his reserve is quite high, but it is all relative to how bad someone wants a diesel JK. :D

Regarding the inspection, I am sure he wouldn't mind as long as a deal is pending to weed out tire-kickers and joyriders, which apparently are out in full force.

Current bid up to $40,100 and reserve not met!
I am also wondering what mpg (or km) he is getting also.

Wish they had a factory installed diesel option. Would seriously consider consider moving back to the jeep world.

So much for my idea to offer a straight up trade for my 08 Wrangler Rubi w/10k miles :costumed-smiley-007

Buy yourself a couple gas tanks and a roof rack to mount them on then call yourself even. It will take you years to recoup the "cost" of that diesel and your 08 warranty will be in tact. :ylsmoke:

The auction ended today with a high bid of $40,100.
That didn't meet the reserve price, so no sale.
