The 3.73's with 35's work great on the highway. But the auto trans has a high 1st gear and even in low range I often wish I had a lower gear. First gear on the auto is 3.231. First on the manual is 5.940. I guess I am spoiled because my previous Dodge diesel had the manual.
After researching the suspensions and asking questions it looks like I will go with the "CHASE" series KORE suspension. This is the furthest I can go into the KORE suspension line and still retain my trucks original towing capability. This is my business truck that I use to tow my snowcats with so I need the 1 ton rating. I sold my Dodge Power Wagon because It just didnt have the capability to tow my bigger cat. BUT I do miss her! LOCKERS .
I will also run 35" tires. I need to keep this truck down lower but 40" tires sure would have been sweet. Maybe on my wifes Dodge Power Wagon shes been bugging me to get her.........
Ive been looking at the new Goodyear MTRs. Does anyone have any real world feed back? I do love Goodyear Tires.
Good!!! We have taken the box of ours and pressure-washed it. Great to see shiny bolts and breaklines appear from under the undercoating on a 34 year old truck!:wings:
And now I'll get on board on your Dodge project. They are cool!:victory:
