08 tacoma first trip

Not sure if this is the correct spot to be posting but ive got an 08 DC tacoma with 115,000 kms on it and on thursday night im leaving on a bit of a road trip out to winnipeg and back. 2500 kms each way. i havent taken the truck on a long trip before so does anyone have any suggestions as to spare parts on anything that i should bring? im gona be doing an oil change tomorrow night but is there any extra prep i should be doing? ive got the 4.0L auto.

im already bringing:

-flat repair kit
-full size spare
- hilift jack

i will be sticking to the highways as ive only left myself 30 hours to get to winnipeg and about 36 to get home.

Should have zero problems, I have done that drive many times. There are lots of places along the way if you have a problem but I'm sure you will not. I have done the drive in 23 hours before but a bit more reasonable is the 30 hours you have planned.

A quicker route is to go south to I90 and take that across, 70-80mph speed limits and much better hwy's. Its longer distance but takes much less time and money (gas is 80c/L down there).
