Seattle, WA
Selling my brother's 2000 Toyota Tundra. He's working full time, going to nursing school, raising a 7 y.o, and helping on his families' ranch out in North Central Washington. Inherited a new 3/4 Chevy which will pull a horse trailer. He purchased the truck from the original owner, who faithfully had all services done by the local Toyota dealership. My brother's uncle was the primary mechanic there, which is how he came into the truck approximately 5 years ago w/ 100k. MPG is high teens with occasional 20's. Always better than my 2011 Tacoma TRD. Now having had experience with both, I'd take the Tundra. It feels nearly the same size as the Taco with a 4.7L 100 series Land Cruiser v8.
Timing belt replaced at 100k
New water pump
4 speed auto transmission-shifts are crisp and smooth
Towing package
Spacer lift and Ride Rite air bags, all installed by Firestone
Color matched canopy
New windshield
Plastic bed liner
Mechanically perfect
Everything works
Power windows, locks,
AC
Rubber floor mats
Non-smokers
Toyo MT 255/85r16 w/ approx 40% tread.
few small dings in the bumper and tailgate, approximately golf ball sized
paint is pearly, beading up rain drops, and looks recently waxed
fog lights
I had to talk my brother out of rotating the tires in single digit temps in the snow last weekend before I drove it home to Seattle. He's that guy. It's a nearly perfect rig and needs nothing to daily drive or go far. I've considered buying it myself but prefer the openness of my fj80. It would be nice to see the truck to someone in the expo community. It's a sleeping platform and racks attached to the rails in the canopy away from full service. The first person to bring $10,000 will own it.
Thanks for looking.
