12 volt fans

Now that we've jumped into summer time temps and just two weeks before our week long jaunt through the humid jungles of Southern Missouri, we've started to consider a fan for the camper.

I'm looking at two different fans, one made by O2-Cool and one made by Fan-Tastic. We just plan on using it during the night while sleeping and maybe during the day if we're cooped up during a down pour.

We're fairly light when it comes to battery power, but I expect our house battery to receive a decent charge every couple of days. During the summer months, the only draw on the battery would be an occasional over head light and the fan.

Any suggestions or experience with these two brands?

I'm a "fan" (pun intended) of the Fantastic Fan product. They have done right by many of my (past) customers regarding warranty, even when it was blatantly obvious something was not even remotely their responsibility.

I like the functions available as well, with product ranging from "basic" to "loaded."

I'm not familiar with the O2-cool brand.

I have been using the Camano folding 12V fan in my Maggiolina Extreme. Folds up, draws very little amperage, and cots about $20 at West Marine.

You are planning on installing the fan in the roof of the Neon, IPO the 14x14 inch roof vent that is already there, right?

Well...here's one fan NOT to get:

Bought one yesterday...plugged it in last night to test it...and it's too noisy and also not very well balanced. So its going back today.

I think I am actually going to rig one (or two) of these up in either end of my Maggiolina where the scissor risers cross...should be just right to pull/exhaust air from/out the end window. Quiet, smooth, relatively cheap, easy on current and actually moves a respectable amount of air:
