12 volt heater

I am looking for some extra heat in the back of my truck camper shell.

While you are camped or just while you are driving?

40 Amps draw will give you a bit over an hour from one 100Ah battery and would put a bit of strain on a normal alternator.


Propane or diesel are the most practical source of energy.

I am going to use it while driving to keep things warm in the back. I have a propane heater as well. I would also run it while sleeping in the back and have it hooked up to a thermostat so it wouldn't run a lot.
