12V LED camp kitchen lights

I'm looking for a pair of LEDs (one on each D pillar) to mount in our 100 series to illuminate the kitchen. We have a fuse block in the back so power is easy, thus something more permanent than Luminoodles (although they do look really cool).

Having the ability to dim them, or change colors, would be really great.

Has anyone tried these? I'm afraid they may be too bright.

Thanks!

I just put one of these on the side of the sportsmobile: https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-work-light-lights/3-and-one-half-inch-rectangular-6-watt-led-mini-auxiliary-flood-light/2201/4923/ I'm pretty happy, it is much brighter than the factory porch light, but not overpowering. It is about the size of a 3x5 card and about an inch think, so it is pretty low profile.

On a related note: I got a set of these without knowing what I was going to do with them, just because of the price: http://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Waterproof-Off-road-Auxiliary-Driving/dp/B00T62RK1U/ I fired them up on the workbench and they seem pretty well made.
