Then you would get a malfunctioning OBDII system which makes a once road legal vehicle illegal. You must have a functioning OBDII system to pass inspections.

Depending on where you live, yes. And while the emission nazis continue to force stricter controls and us sheeple allow them to do it, we will always be forced to either do without or find other means to get what we want. In a contest between being forced to drive something less efficient for what I do versus finding a way to get or make something that fits my needs, there is little debate. The fact that what I want or can make is better on fuel, less mechanically complicated, lasts longer, AND can give the middle finger salute to OPEC as much as possible... I'll happily find a place to live that recognizes common sense (limited testing) over control of my life.

Do you know if that tax applies in Canada?

-Dan

It doesnt. Canada is not the United States :ylsmoke:

Scuttle is that Canads will be getting it. The US will not. I like it and it is turning out to be a better overall package than any midsize truck but bringing it to the States would drive the price up so high that going with a full size will be much more economical.

Nice. That's a good sign that automakers are willing to sell something in Canada without selling it in the US.

Fingers still crossed for a factory diesel Wrangler...
