Reluctant sale of the Big Blue (LHD) after four great years of travel and adventure. A change of lifestyle means I have to downsize! The van has been well maintained, the chassis is solid but the seams do need attention and there is a dent to the bottom of the side sliding door. I have tried to reflect the faults in the photos.
I recently replaced the tyres with Goodrich All Terrain, a new gas heater was installed last year and six out of eight CV joints have been replaced. There is a roll-out awning, and the van is well insulated and double glazed. I have constantly marvelled at the fuel economy – 35/40 mpg on a long journey. 340,000km on the clock.
As you would expect, she is great fun to drive, incredibly comfortable and loves nothing better than a long journey. There is masses of storage space, particularly in the big cupboard above the front cab.
