'17 Tundra build planning - opinions welcome!

My better half gave me the green light for some mods to help us explore more of the PNW (we are new to the area). We want a rig that will bring camping and/or hunting gear for us and our dog (Roux, wirehaired pointing griffon) comfortably on long stretches of fire roads and light trails, give us a place to sleep when we get there, and get us safely home.

As she sits - '17 DC TRD OR 4x4, Snugtop Rebel w. Sportsman's package, 275/70/18 Cooper ST MAXX:

THE PLAN
Suspension
King 2.5" coilovers and matching rear shocks. I know they might be overkill over some Bilstein 6112/5160's, but I do want the softer ride and adjust ability the Kings provide - from what I hear.

Camburg BJ UCA's - I like the ball joint for being quiet and "maintenance free".

Leaf pack/AAL (??) - Truck sags and occasionally hits the bumps with the shell and gear. Still debating between Old Man Emu Dakars, Icon RXT, or just add Timbrens and see how it goes.

Sliders
CBI. Won't be bashing the truck, mainly guarding against stumps/small rocks and the wild backcountry shopping cart.

Sleeping
Plywood/2x sleeping platform under the shell.

Roof Rack
Frontrunner slimline rack - Give us a home for tred pros, shovel, hi-lift, awning, lights, or a RTT if we go that direction.

Lighting
Baja Designs - a couple S2's on the rear of the roof rack, maybe some S2's on the sides, and a bumper mounted 30" S8 light bar.
Switch Pros 9100 and SDHQ mount.

Do all of it right now and take lots of pictures. :wings:
I am a firm believer that, if its not broke, don't fix it. But usually on a trail rig that doesn't get you very far. So start small with some good stuff and then try it all out on a weekend and upgrade as needed. Then in the end go crazy because you can. Have fun.

Maybe a good front bumper to house a winch or at the very least some good recovery points. To move downed tress out of the way, and to take on the ever present ROUS. Also some better approach angles and badassery looks.

Definitely go for the full Dakar leaf packs, they are great. I think that if you are planning on using your Tundra as you imagine, then any sort of add-a-leaf will just be a Band-Aid fix.
I went a little gonzo on my suspension, as you plan on doing. I went ADS Racing all around, along with MCM Fab uca's, and the Dakar leaf packs. I have a camper, so I also added airbags. I have Slee sliders, but any real structural slider will do.
The Tundra is an amazing platform to build on, I love my truck more every time I take her out.

Thanks. The camper has been a dream of ours for the past few years. We decided to consolidate our camping/adventure/toys into one package. Sold the motorbikes, sold the Xterra with rooftop tent, selling our travel trailer here in the next couple months, and out everything into the Tundra and camper setup. My plan is to keep both for a very long time, and put thousands and thousands of miles on it.

I kept the stock shackles, did not need taller or adjustable ones at all with the Dakar leaf packs. I've actually bought an additional Dakar leaf to install into each pack, just to add to the load capability, and take more pressure off the airbags. Right now i'm running bout 30psi in my airbags, and i'd like to know that in the event of an airbag failure in the middle of nowhere my leaf springs are still fully capable of getting me home.
