Long time reader on more Jeep oriented forums. Decided to make the switch to the 4Runner. Seems to be an all around better built vehicle and as easy to customize. First plans are a Gobi full roof rack and to change out the factory steps to proper sliders. Those look like they're waiting to get ripped off at the wrong moment. Think C4 Fab front bumper and icon shock upgrade will follow

I joined the 5th Gen club two months ago. I previously had a 1 gen (485,000 mi.) and a 4th gen (285,000 mi.). Both were great. I installed an OME lift and love it - springs and shocks. Waiting on tires - probably BFG KO2's. They have never let me down in the past. However, thinking about some Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx. I'm at 5500 miles already and just did the first oil change. Definitely takes longer than my 4th Gen. Went with Mobil 1. Here's a couple of shots from a recent trip to Big South Fork TN. I often do HDR shots and make them look natural as possible. But, this looked too cool. Enjoy that new 'Runner.

Pulled the trigger on the Front Runner Slim line. Had previously installed the Yotaleds. Now to decide if I want to drill the roof or not

I elected not to drill for my Prinsu and so far I am very happy with that decision and I still wouldn't drill if I had it to do all over again.
