1964 Land Rover Forward Control: Originally served as a fire truck for the community of Waldkirch Bernhardzell in Switzerland for 14 years. After that, it spent 20 years in the Swiss Transportation Museum in Lucerne. It was then exported to the U.S. where we found it. It is one of 611 Series IIA Forward Controls ever produced. The original engine was a 2.6-liter inline 6-cylinder with 90 horsepower and 115 ib-ft of torque.
We upgraded the engine with a 4.0-liter powertrain from a 1998 Discovery donor vehicle, as well as upgraded the brakes. We also diamond-plated the storage area and added TVs behind the doors. It also has deployable power awnings and in the center section, there are two 3000-watt Honda generators. Has some paint blemishes and needs tires. It runs and drives great. Please PM for more pics and details. Location Las Vegas, NV $39,950.
