Some of you will recognize this 109. I purchased it from Bob Steele back in December. I have come to realize that I am not suited to own such a nice truck. I find myself wanting to modify it into something I should not. So I have decided pass it on to someone else who can treat it right.
It is a 66 series IIa that went through an extensive resto a few years ago. New Frame, Parabolics, new body panels and wiring. Defender front seats and center console. The full canvas is pretty worn, the pickup canvas needs a few of the seams restitched but it is nice otherwise. The has the unleaded head and OVERDRIVE. Drives nice for a 40 year old truck. also has Warn 9000 winch and recovery bag, high lift jack. Has gas tank mounted under the rear of the bed defender style. Located outside of Richmond VA.
I will take more pictures tomorrow. I updated the pictures and Also found a few things i should mention. As any good Rover should she does leave drips in the driveway. I think mostly fom the original style oil filter. I had planned to update this. I does need a wheel cylinder on the front left side. Also the speedo does not work. the needle has fallen off inside the gauge. And as Nice as it is it is not a perfect restoration. I would consider it a resto mod. Really nice, but not concourse restoration. I have updated the album with more pictures.
