Selling one of my Jeepster/Commandos "Hurst Edition". There were approximately 100 of these built, they have a Hurst shifter, hood scoop and tach built into the hood scoop. There was a frame off resto completed on this about a year ago. It has a 4.3 EFI upgrade and disk brakes on the front axle. Stripes have been replicated to match original factory. It drives and runs like new.

THIS TRUCK IS A PERFECT SHOW TRUCK AND HAS WON SEVERAL AWARDS / TROPHIES.

“The Hurst Jeepster was a joint project between Hurst Performance Products’ George Hurst and the Jeep engineers. This project actually began while Jeep was owned by Kaiser Industries, but the model didn't appear on the showroom floor until after Jeep had been purchased by American Motors Corp. Originally Jeep planned to produce 500 of these special editions (300 automatics and 200 stick shifts), but in the end it is believed that only around 100 were ever driven off of the assembly line making it a very special vehicle. The reasoning behind the lower production total was likely because AMC had plans to redesign the Commando model for the following production year.” -Source JeepsterCommandoClub

This Jeep went through a $25K, nut and bolt, frame off restoration and customization approximately 1000 miles ago. The restoration includes the following:
-Body was taken off the frame, professionally restored and painted.
-Frame was powdercoated
-New 4.3L EFI Fuel Injected Motor Installed
-New Automatic Transmission
-Custom Front Brake Disc Conversion
-New Custom Wheels and Tires
-New Chrome and Accessories
-New Custom Gage Cluster

The restoration took approximately seven years (two years waiting, finding, redoing, then redoing the replicated stripes to PERFECTLY match the original).

Truck is perfect and needs nothing but a new owner. Own this rare Jeep 4x4 Convertible at a fraction of the build cost.
