1973 Ford Bronco Explorer

Just bought this yesterday from Jonathan Ward, at TLC/ICON. Still at his shop in CA, but have some pics & video. Not going to be used as an Expo rig - But thought some here would appreciate the vintage stock 4x4.

Uncut, original paint in great condition..., no rust/rust repair,... no accidents or body work, near flawless body, 36K original miles.

Wow...
that is too pretty for me to own as there is no way I could keep from wanted to travel the backcountry. Sure I could avoid rock crawling as I don't do that now. But I would be racking up the miles in no time.
Very nice truck and glad it didn't get cut up into an ICON

Appreciate everyone's feedback - Thanks!

I'm new to the Early Broncos,... & really lucked out on this one.

Aside from some minor upgrades - I'm keeping it all stock.

Upgrading the brakes, headlights & adding a Vintage AC unit. All original parts being replaced, will be kept, in order to restore the truck back to stock in the future.

Cheers!

Below's a pic,... from an original 1973 sales brochure for the truck (thanks Todd Z!)

It's a fairly rare interior,... & from what I've gather so far - It was only offered in 1973,... & with the Explorer package.

I love it!

Maybe an occaisional back country picnic at least?

That is a beauty and should be taken care of. Like Lance though, I don't think I could keep it off of the dirt. Enjoy!

Wow:Wow1: Foxhall, that is a beautiful example of a Ford Bronco from back in the day that you might want to own one. Really nice to see that you were so lucky to get one in that nice shape. I would be really interested in knowing what you payed for such a rare and fine vehicle.... Congratulations on a nice purchase.... Cheers, Chilli.:)
