Budget so far (rough wag):
$160 - Wheels & Tires
$20 - 2x cans Rustoleum primer & Semi-gloss black spray paint (trailer chassis)
$120 - 3x sheets of Plywood (flooring)
$35 - 1 gallon concrete sealant for bottom of plywood flooring
$5? - 1x pkg of self-tapping screws
$50 - 5x sheets Plywood (1/8") for lower walls & ceiling:
$100 - Linoleum & glue
$20 - 2x orange, 2x red exterior marker lights
$20 - 1x2's for ceiling
$20 - Styrofoam for ceiling
$30 - 2x tubes of glue for ceiling
$60 - Ceiling vent
$900 - Bear Creek Canvas
TOTAL - $1,540

I previously estimated I could be in this for around $1700, and I still need:
2x Mattresses
1x full set of Dinette cushions
2x Interior lights (LED)
Interior paint for sidewalls and ceiling

Then, there's the solar/electrical system...do I count that in the budget since I can use it for other purposes? LOL

Ok Im back...

Canvas should be here next week. So I need to get busy...

First step: interior sidewalls cut & test fit completed. See photos.

Tomorrow, I'll screw some 1x2's to the floor (behind the panels) and screw the bottoms of the panels to the 1x2's.

After everything fits properly, I'll stain and clear the panels & wire in exterior lighting. Then...lower cabinets.

Ok. Life has been getting in the way...

Roof is back off. The luan was sagging in the middle. I didnt glue it to the foam.

Need to rewire exterior lighting and install marker lights.

Then, sand & paint ceiling and sidewalls. And botton that up.

Lastly: canvas!

Since the siderails were covered with mouse waste, Im using aluminum wheel cleaner and green scrubby pads to clean all the aluminum trim. Just getting it halfway nice & clean, not going for gloss.

30 minutes of scrubbing sidrails, much better. The smell of grapes and mouse piss shall haunt me...

Now to install LED Clearance Markers. The wiring is in great shape, but since I've come this far, I might rewire the trailer lights as well.

Painted.

I just went acrylic semi gloss white. I wont see 80% of the walls, as they'll be hidden behind the cabinets. Might put some wall paper or something on the areas we CAN see down the road. I dunno.

Now, about those rusty bows....

Dust mask + DA Sander + 80 grit = almost done

Bows were sanded, primered and spray painted satin Desert Tan. Thought about just sanding them clean, but it was too erratic and splotchy, so I painted them.

Roof Mounting Hardware...I couldve bought all new, but Im trying to keep the budget down. Fired up my Harbor Freight ultrasonic cleaner with some Simple Green and let it go. Not bad for zero effort. It took a lot of gunk and crud off. Cant wait to try out a small carb next!

Roof is back on (hopefully for the last time). Awaiting bow-tensioner's final coat to dry...then it's CANVAS!

Had to head out of town on business.

Decided to keep the canvas in the box this winter. The mice are already getting into everything in my garage...so we bought a cat! LOL
I figured one season in the box would mean one more season the mice wouldn't tear it up.

From here, it's a blank slate.

What you YOU do?
