I'm curious if you're planning on getting rid of the 360? I had one, one of the worst engines Ford ever made from my experience. Burned oil like mad for no reason and was low on power. I replaced it with a 390 and never looked back. That 390 was a beast and got better mileage than the 360.

I haven't put much thought into it yet. So far it runs good but i never know what plans are in the future for it. I might swap it out when I get an automatic in their

I hear you there, if the engine is running good for now no need to replace it until you've got another motor built up.

I agree on the upgrade to a 390

I changed out my 360 for a 390 and am very happy with the difference. I would love to have been able to go to the 460 but a 390 was a simple swap. That 30 extra inches make a huge change in the character of the truck.
I don't see getting rid of my 71, these older trucks get to be a part of you after a while.

I agree 100% at some point I'll just build something in the garage over time. Then shove it in.
