1976 Jeep J20 pricing help

Hey guys. New to the thread and was hoping I could get an idea for what a fair price might be for this J20.
Details per seller:
1976 J20 3/4 Ton long bed
360ci v8 4bbl carburetor
Rear axle Dana 60
Front axle Dana 44HD
Transmission T18 (1st gear granny gear)
Engine: RV cam, holly truck avenger carburetor, edelbrock alum intake, electronic ignition, exhaust headers/dual exhaust. I can't remember but I thing I installed gear drive. If I didn't, timing chain and sprockets are new.
Brand new hankook ATM tires on 16" alum wheels.
Two gas tanks (I think combined is 55 gal)
Less than 5k miles: brake rotors, pads, wheel bearings.
Transfer case: I believe it's a Dana 20.
Bed cover: custom one off SofTopper made in boulder.
Interior: dash pad is perfect and no cracks, carpet is new, updated gauges, power bucket seats.


Over the summer he said he would interested in selling it for around 11-12k$, after speaking with him yesterday he would come down to 9k$. I'm not sure what the value would be so I'm hoping someone who knows these machines better can weigh in. Mileage is around 90k

Location of truck, location where you intend to register, and body condition will make a big difference.

I doubt I would go more than $3-4K for any 1976 regular cab truck, but I’m not in love with Jeep trucks and I know that there are many functional trucks in that size class out there.

What will you or someone else pay for it? Hard to value something like this, to the right buyer it may be priceless.

It seems to have alot of the desired FSJ stuff, driveline wise, but J20's did from the factory. Mileage on the 360 would dictate price, as well as interior. It didn't come with power seats, so that isn't original. It looks like a 7-8k truck to me, depending on how much rot it has... and the engine.

I sold a 76 j10 that is pretty close to comparable to that one for 4k.

Location is Denver. 7-8 is where I would want to be but denver has a big market for these.

I would say 7-8 tops. Depending on actual condition even lower. Here in SoCal I would think it would be anywhere from 6-8K. Only drawback is it being a 76. 75 and older the price jumps because it’s smog exempt.

Pretty much right on.
It's a great looking truck, but you can see rust in the bed seams for sure.
Take a good look at the fender flares, make sure they are not rusted out in the back of them.

But it is a nice looking truck.
