1978 Bethany Pickupper for Sale,
Running water, 10 gallon fresh water storage. Fill tank from water inlet, use 12v pump, Bethany pump or shore water pressure (shore with vent closed, of course)
2 battery battery bank, 12 volt digital voltage meter, 2 12v outlets, led lights, also has 4 110 outlets that will power up off the shore power hook up
propane furnace works great and effectively vents out back, needs no power just propane, original two burner stove top very clean and new looking
awning on back over full height door including adjustable tent poles, guideines and astro turf rug, creates dry area outside camper door for supplies, boots etc...
2inch receiver hitch steps included (nice oval ones from Amazon)
3 old tripod camper jacks ( I got these off of craigslist just this last month $35/piece and two trips to pick them up, they have a plate that bolt on to the camper, I have not bolted them on yet, they work as is, much more sturdy than the old pulley angle iron types that came with the camper.
stake pocket tie downs
I have narrowed the under bench storage area on each side of the bench (search 78 Bethany to see my little expo posts) so that this can fit through the newer narrower tailgates of today's trucks. The back 1.5 feet is still original width, if you have a newer truck with a narrower tailgate you will need a 6.5 to make this work hanging the back on the tailgate
800-850lbs dry, my guess...1000lb give or take a few, loaded with batteries and water, so will work on half ton
2 double beds, one on each side of the small galley in the middle
galley table has a folding leg and sets up and takes down in just a minute to open up the space in the middle
this canvas is as good as new, seriously, the cushions too.
This has obviously always been stored inside, I have it inside my barn with a cement floor right now
I am not the original owner but I do have the original bill of sale from Bethany, along with a Bethany Brochure and a manual for the heater.
Located 30 minutes north of Saint Paul MN, reply to this post with interest/questions, I'll be subscribed to it. Thank you.
Selling because we are going a different route and purchasing a pull behind.
$1000
