Atl-atl
Adventurer
Sold! 10/5/2020
It is with great sadness that I list this truck for sale. These things are becoming incredibly rare and hard to find. Especially in good shape on a running driving vehicle. I searched for 5 years to find one and have labored over it for the past 6 months. Redoing much of the dashboard and doors, cleaning up tons of crappy wiring and replacing tons of stuff under the hood, in the cab, in the camper etc. I have lots of new stuff in boxes that I havent had time to install yet; carpet, speakers, interior trim pieces etc. The camper is in very good shape, does not leak, canvas is in great condition for its age. Roof vents, windows and door function correctly. It is far from perfect. It has some dings and scratches and a couple rust spots and plenty of patina. The front lift panel in the camper still functions but will need to be replaced eventually and the faucet leaves something to be desired. The engine vaporlocks when its really hot out, I never sorted that out because I was going to LS swap it. Im not a flipper, this is my very own personal vehicle with a clean/clear title, registration and insurance in my name in Arizona. Life is taking me in a different direction and I need to let some things go. Please check out my build thread for all the details; good, bad and indifferent. Nothing to hide here. Atl-atl's K5 Blazer + Four Wheel Campers "Blazer" documentation thread. Those interested in talking outside of this thread, please send a direct message with your contact info and I will reply as immediately as I can.
Truck+Camper as is for $17,000 or best offer. Cash only, no trades, money talks... Located in Phoenix AZ.
For those in AZ that want to check it out, the truck will be at FourTillFour coffee shop in Scottsdale for "Adventure Mobiles" this coming Saturday 9/26 at 8am.
Here is a snippet from the build thread...
Cheyenne trim level; power windows, locks and some other small options. 4x4, 5.7, automatic. Dana 44 front Chevy 12 bolt rear. "350/350/208" for those in the know. 4wd system and manual front hubs work. Factory A/C truck, works but doesnt blow very cold right now. Arizona truck its whole life. Technically it has had "two owners" but in reality it was a one owner vehicle when I purchased from a mom and pop repair shop that was selling it for a friend of the original owner in Tucson. It came with a plethora of paperwork including the original order card for the Blazer, the original order sheets for the camper and lots of maintenance records of years past. I rewired the whole interior of the camper (except for inside the roof) to a Blue Sea fuse block, rewired from the alternator to the camper, installed LED lights throughout, installed a Duracell AGM 2nd battery that works off the original charging relay, added an exterior shower, installed a completely new water system with 10 gallons of freshwater and an electric water pump. Furnace and stove are the original propane units and function perfectly.
