It’s alive! My mechanic cranked it up with the 300tDI for the first time. Thankfully he’s a better mechanic than videographer...

Stopped by today and saw the new engine in person today. Made a better quality video of it firing up.

Ended up buying the heavy duty axles and Defender disc brake conversion kit from Forbyn Bros as I was concerned about using the ARB air locker on the stock axles and also decided with the upgraded engine best to have disc brakes front and back.

Excited about the Michelin XZL tires that will go on soon. Bought 8 of them, 4 for the Lightweight plus the spare, 2 more for the m416 trailer that will have matching hubs and rims plus a spare on the trailer too.
