1984 Dakar Pajero

Saw this on a classic car site.
They just did a restoration on this truck. I've got a 2gen but I really like this truck and it would be VERY cool to replicate.
I would like to see the underpinnings of a Gen2 Dakar truck (not the werks race trucks the ones that still looked like Pajeros)

Restoration of an old race truck from 1984, that truck has a history.

Looks like original race truck mods made for actual racing versus 'chrome won't get you home' options that abound the market today...

Here are pics I took of the ORIGINAL Dakar Winning Mitsu from 84. Mitsu Motors NA brought it over from Japan for MOD '07. Yeah, thats me in the pic.
