Hi thanks for looking! I'm regrettably posting my 1984 VW Vanagon here for sale. I bought her as a project a few months back and although she's making progress, a new project in the house had forced me to sell her and go back to one vehicle. The good news is that project is a trailer but the bad news is I lose one of my dream trucks. I've listed the details on her below. She's not perfect by any means but definitely a great deal for what I'm asking. The intent was to turn her into a camper and so the interior has been stripped and prepped for linex, cabinets, new paint, or shag carpet. Whatever floats your boat! Mechanically I made a lot more progress on her however including new fuel lines, new starter, and best of all NEW TRANSMISSION with less than 20 miles on it. Without further delay here are the details on LANA (yes like the show archer... long story)

Open to Trades for other vehicles

1984 VW Vanagon
97,XXX miles
New tires
New fuel lines (soft and hard lines)
New fuel tank grommets
Brand New Automatic Transmission with less than 20 miles (every part replaced)
New starter
Newish Seats. Haha vanagon seats are never new these days i guess but i bought a new good condition pair
New horn and steering wheel cover

Im sure I'm forgetting something but essentially you're buying a new transmission for a vanagon with a free van, engine, etc along with it. I paid 2500 for the trans in the first place so this truck could be great for a camper conversion or just if you need parts for you already built out van. Im open to trades and offers so don't hesitate to ask. Feel free to contact me on the forum or by email at crcordesc@gmail.com

A 30 year old vehicle with 90K miles (3000 a year). Do you know how this happened? Parked in a barn for years?

Haha nice. Also I'm not sure. I bought the van off a lady who was going into a retirement home. She hadn't been able to drive it for a few years (thus the sun damage on the paint)

Chris, I assume it was 265,000 - a 2 million mile VW van would be historic!

PS I wish I had the funds, I so badly want a Vanagon.....

Haha agreed! I wouldn't have words to express how impressed I would be with a two or even one million mile van. Im sure he typed an extra 9. And the Vanagon is one of my favorite vehicles. I dream of someday owning a Syncro Westy, but given their prices Ill stick with the 2wd. The original Bus has traveled just about everywhere in the world on 2wd so why not the vanagon?
