The truck was a 2WD Dually 3+3. I swapped a Dana SRW front axle and kept the rear Dana 80 DRW. The wheels are 17X10 with 35's.
I used DIY4X4 B52's and rear Shackle reversal hangers. I found a set of used 6 inch Superlifts 52" leaf springs and mixed and matched leafs front and rear to gain about a total 7" lift. I removed the overload springs that sit over the main pack on the rear.
Since it was a 2WD I didn't have to swap the Steering Box to do a Crossover steering.
The truck is currently running the stock 6.2 Diesel with Turbo 400 trans. I have a P Pumped Cummins 6BT with a NV4500 out of a 1997 Dodge 4x4 but haven't found a 29 spline NP205 Passenger drop to start my swap.

The aluminum bed is one you find on a Home Depot rental truck. I found it for sale locally and had to have it so I scrapped the original steel flatbed for $100 and mounted this one. I remove the gates when the Callen Camper is used. As for the Camper; It is fully enclosed with a steel tubing and plywood floor. The shell is not tall enough for me to stand (I'm 5'8") but I can sit on the benches and have plenty of head room. It has a freshwater tank for an outside shower. I'd like a full size bed and a toilet. A collapsible dinette, some storage bins, a small counter top for a portable burner and food prep when the outside weather is bad.
The project has been slow and the outings even slower but having some fun throwing around ideas and building as time permits.
I have more pics in my Crewcab Album on this site. I'll add more pics as I build and I'm open to your suggestions. Thanks

Appears you're running SRW's, Super singles or something? Either way, very nice rig.

The wheels are off the shelf Pro Comp 17X10 rims for a 4x4 truck. The rear wheels are mounted on the original dually axle. Viewing the truck from behind the drum brakes are clearly visible.

First off, welcome to the site Fj! I like the look of your rig and can really see the potential with what you have. It is a huge:Wow1:improvement over the 2wd version that you posted pics of. It would be cool to see more pics of your build and get an idea of the way you put that camper on the flatdeck. Cheers, Chilli...:)

if your rear axle is stock it should be a dana 70hd not a dana 80. the hd has 4" tubes and the same diff cover as a dana 60. a dana 80 diff cover is much skinnier. just thought i would let you know in case you were going to order a locker for it or something. if its swapped in, even cooler

sweet rig, love the aluminum flatbed! keep us posted on the cummins swap. lots of interest on this site for these swaps!

Cool truck! I've always like that color combo. Years ago when I lived in Detroit there was a body manufacturer that I passed on the way to work everyday that was installing those beds on the (new at the time) Home Depot F250 chassis cabs. I always wanted to steal one of those beds!
