How many miles on the engine? What is the tranny? What gear ratio in diffs? Any oil leaks? How is the knuckles? Interior clean? All gauges work? Rust in wheel wells only?

Thanks

Any pics of the frame? Was any older rust repaired before the repaint? How does this do with towing, does the 350 have good power? Does this pass emissions okay? Any sound deadening material inside? How are the brakes?

My 60 for sale

There are all five factory seat belts, I have two little ones and this was my daily driver for 8 years or so.

I have towed trailers sometimes, a tent trailer to northern montana, and around the favorite mountain secret spots. It is great at that. The cruiser out tows all my friends rigs in the hills except my '07 tundra will definately pull harder. I added a pic with camper.

This cruiser, to give an idea of power, has walked away from (barely) My buddy's fzj 80 which was bored .040 over and supercharged (original eng/trans, etc). we were both loaded with tons of gear, trailers, roof racks with lights , etc. I weighed the whole rig that day at a gravel pit at around 7800 lbs.

The engine has about 90k on it, the factory 4spd has around 250k on it (but I have a replacement if ever needed with 100k) the trans is solid and has given me no reason to mess with it. The gears are 4.56:1, the knuckles were gone through about 110k ago, and only show a slight sign of grease beyond the felt. the t case has a slight leak at one of the shift rail seals, the rear main on the 350 has a small drip, which I believe hasnt changed since about the 20k mark. The interior is a lot cleaner that most I have ever seen, aside from the occasional cream puff and resto rigs. I will post pics of interior, eng compartment, etc this week end. All gauges work great, a must as far as I am concerned. That was a definate goal during the conversion. Rust in usual spots, aliitle wheel well, door corner, I will post pics of that too. I rarely see a body on these with less than mine.

Brakes are good, frame pics coming, no rust repairs but the original owner or so must have have a minor repair done that is a rear quarter panel repair. Only noticeable if looked for pretty hard. It has all emmission compliance components, but I have never needed a test on it where I live. The only sound deadening material is the original carpet and insulation, but I kept quiet exhaust system etc. It has been my daily driver for years and a family cruiser mobile. Most noise heard is from tires and the Overdrive unit sings a little in overdrive but not direct.

That overdrive/splitter is way cool on this rig. You can use it in any gear, so you really get a 8 spd in 4 hi and also 4 lo. That in between gear capability is so great on hills on highway, sand and deep snow.

Drummond is an incredibly honest and humble guy. He, like most of us are so suited for this truck.....self sustaining, multipurpose, like a tool for all things non specific. Go to the store; done. go bad places with no worries; done. have an awesome trip to wherever and however far away; done. everything else is minivan country.

Cool FJ 60

so this truck is in a niche position. guys who like rugged, simple and reliable. I would venture to say that to a lot of us that is the lancruiser statement.

So for any picture inquisitions I guess email is the way since I havent figured out the attatchment method here. Seems like my attachment thingy is full, cant erase, replace or add some.

I have nothing to hide about this cruiser, and lots to talk about.
