1987 Land Cruiser HJ61 in Sweden // $10.500 / 89.900 SEK

Found this while looking through the classifieds in Sweden. I am pretty interested. How does it look?



155k miles (250k kms), heated seats, winter tires etc etc. Newly passed inspection without flaws.

I know rust is a major issue with these babies, but is there anything else I should look out for?

As far as I know, the HJ61 was produced with round headlights from 1986 thru half of 1987.

Looking at the power output in the advert I would say it's a non-turbo HJ60. This one has 103hp, the turbo charged HJ61 had 136hp. Further more I would be a bit sceptic to how well the restoration of this vehicle has been carried out. Their business model seems to be buying rotten cruisers cheap, do a paint job and some tyre shine and then sell the cars with a hefty markup. Might not be the case here but there are unfortunately plenty of known cases where they have done this.
