Selling my BJ74 after 3 years of ownership. This is a Japanese market 70 series land cruiser. Legendary truck, the workhorse of most of the developing world. The topper is factory removable, and the windscreen folds down flat. I imported the truck from Calgary and titled in Montana. The price reflects the condition. Located in Truckee, CA. Montana title in hand. Not sure if you can register the vehicle? Do your own research. Possible in most states.

THE BAD:

- Has a leak from the #1 injector seat. Needs a new seat. They are cheap. Running poorly due to air in fuel system. Buyer would need to bring parts and tools, or a trailer.
- Needs a passenger side engine mount.
- Rust issues throughout. Windshield frame is especially bad. Fenders are pretty bad but no holes in tub. Drivetrain is mostly just surface rust.
- Some oil leaks.
- Tear in driver seat
- Temp gauge inaccurate but functional

THE GOOD:

Injectors were done at 340,000kms by Hugh at Safari Ltd in Grand Junction, CO. He also compression tested the block with good results. Mechanically the 13BT should perform well once the fuel issue is fixed. Shell Rotella 10W-40 oil changes every 7000km, and after trips.
- AC blows cold
- New soft fuel lines throughout (tank to lift pump), and cleaned fuel tank.
- Newish ACDelco Batteries (2)
- OME Dakar 2" lift
- 33" BFG KO2s with 80% tread mounted on 17" FJC steelies + full size spare
- Custom rear swingout bumper with custom North Shore style 3 place mountain bike rack
- Axles/brakes serviced recently
- 24-12V converter, head unit

Again, the truck is currently running rough due to the fuel leak. I drove it 200 miles a few weeks ago without incident. If you've got some skills, should be cake to get this thing going. Unfortunately I don't have time.

I'm open to trades as well.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

This is by far the most affordable 70 series in the USA. A little effort would get her running strong. PM me if interested!
