1988 4Runner

I purchased this car a few months ago as a daily driver while I put a new engine in my 99' 4Runner. New engine is being installed, so it is time to sell this one. It has a new engine, 22RE, with around 1500 miles on it, new clutch and master cylinder, starter, and alternator. Has good A/T tires with lots of tread life remaining. Paint is in good condition, though it is original to 88. Rear window works properly, including the rear defrost. Runs like a top, fires up every time with out trouble, and is a great 4x4. She gets around 25mpg depending on how hard you are on the gas. Replaced the stereo with the 6CD changer out of my 99' 4Runner. A/C works great. Looking to get $3500, which is what I payed for it in June.

I'm leaving first of the year for S America, and hoping I can sell this before hand.

I'm on my way to CA right now, but as I left the house I took some more pictures of it so I'll get those up from the hotel tonight. The speedo/odo cable is broken, but the engine was replaced when it broke which is at 199500mi. The rebuilt engine has about 1500mi on it. Crossing my fingers, but someone called today desperate for a road vehicle and wanting to trade straight up for a Kawasaki Tyrex, told him I will call him when I get back in town tomorrow :Wow1:

Brian, if I end up not selling it before I leave then maybe we could work something out where you DD it with for sale signs all over it.

Well here are some pictures. They're still just cellphone shots, and as you can see I didn't get time to clean the inside of the truck any, but at least they give you a better idea of the over all condition of the truck. She really is in good condition, especially considering it's original paint.
