1988 suburban visor- you opinion

I had one on my '88 burb when I bought it and immediately removed it. I wanted as much 'upward' visibility as possible, and it did affect it a little bit (plus I was worried about getting caught in tree branch and getting yanked off). Now, I wouldn't get one because I think that style is a little too outdated, but I do like the marker lights!

Yep, i decided exactly this lol, got it for just $10 and sold last night for $75 so it was worth the time at least:victory:

Love em!!!!!! All my trucks get them, I went as far as resercing them to find that ones off 70s fords would work on my 74 IH 200, I just have to have them!!!!

I've been thinking about getting one for my '90 Suburban - like the look and will decide if it's needed after I get lights on top. To keep limbs from ripping off the visor, you could add limb-lifters - stainless cable mounted between a rack on top and a grill/brush guard.

Here's a couple of pictures from Buckstop Bumpers with a visor attached:

Hope this helps!

I LOVE this truck!! i have the same visor on my 85 k10. ive bashed it pretty hard on branches ect and i can tell you they are super strong. a set of limb risers really helps to.
