1988 Toyota HJ75 Troopy

This is a 2006 body previously used by the Costa Rican government that was installed on a 1988 chassis. Dash and gauge cluster from the 2006 show 176,000 km. The truck was imported to Texas from Costa Rica and has a clean Texas title.

Prior to shipping, the original 2H diesel was completely rebuilt and a turbo was added. New OEM jump seats were also installed. Since it’s been in the states, I’ve also added a new starter, rebuilt the alternator, new belts, and new battery.

The truck has factory AC and a 5 spd manual transmission. Front Bumper is ARB, not sure what brand the rear is. Vehicle runs and drives great but the 2H is not a speed demon. It prefers 65 mph or less. This truck would be most happy somewhere in the mountains.

Does it have the H55f Trans?

Is it the Dana 60 rear axle? I notice it's semi float.

What wheels are those, don't think I've seen them before.
