(4.10 gears are OK for 29 to 32 inch tires; 33s, if you are willing to take the hit in street performance... for tires in the 35/36 inch range go for 4.46s or 4.88s. The absolute ccheapest way to get 4.10 gears is to get a 4 cylinder Dana 30 axle assembly out of a YJ an XJ assembly works but you need to do different spring mounts and, potentially, a few other brackets..
The existing Dana 35 is fine for tires in the 32 inch range but becomes iffy strength wise for hard abuse with 33 inch tires
The existing Dana 30 front axle is fine for 33 inch tires but could use more modern (post 1995 (XJ) large U-joint) junk yard axles if abusing 35-36 inch tires. (35s or undersize 36s are the largest that can be fitted to a CJ/YJ without huge lifts and or relatively extreme body butchery...
