1989 Mitsubishi Montero - V6 Automatic - Idaho - Price Drop $1000

I have a 1989 Mitsubishi Montero for sale, moving out of state and prefer to sell it rather than transport it. I bought it last year and have only driven it twice for about 10 minutes each time so I don't know much about it. I had plans to go through it completely and rebuild it, but got sidetracked with other projects and moving.

V6 3.0 engine, comes with some new parts I didn't get around to installing like NGK spark plugs, air filter, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs wires, etc.

Cluster says 371k miles, engine was replaced, came from a Diamante/3000GT, so I don't know how many miles the actual engine has on it.

Starts right up, runs and drives, does smoke some and I noticed it idling high, around 2k rpm.

I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter

I put some nice 32x11.50R15 BFG all-terrain tires on, they have lots of tread, mounted on OEM pom wheels.

Automatic trans, felt like it shifted well during the brief seat time I had in it.

LSD rear end, Superwinch manual front hubs, triple gauge pod on dash, bouncy drivers seat.

Has ugly purple tint on most windows, I peeled some off already

Windshield has cracks

Power steering pressure line has a leak on the crimp fitting, I just removed the belt on the pump so it doesn't leak everywhere, will need replacing to use power steering.

Seats are in bad shape and should be refinished or replaced

I noticed the turn signals didn't work, probably a bad hazard switch since I think they share the circuit

Key sometimes doesn't start so previous owner installed a push button start, works fine, or you can just replace the ignition switch

This isn't a daily in it's current state and needs someone to go through it. It does start, run, and drive, I just drove it around today, but trailering the vehicle is highly recommended.

Located in Idaho Falls, delivery not available, price is $1500. $1000. The wheel/tire combo alone is worth a good amount, hard to find 32x11.50's anymore.

If you have any questions or want specific photos, jut ask.

Thanks.

I put some interior pieces back together on it today, fixed a loose side mirror, replaced the sun warped lower window trim and repainted the pillars. Open to reasonable offers.

Price drop to $1000. Pictures below of rocker areas, only one that shows any rust is the front right fender that was replaced from a Montero here in Idaho, vehicle itself came from Mexico.
