1990 Toyota Hilux 4X4 Turbo Diesel
It’s hard to beat the reliability of a 1990 Toyota Hilux in turbo diesel form. Classic and toughness combine to give this Hilux a timeless look. It’s equipped with the 2.4L 2L-T Turbo Diesel Inline-4 and 4WD 4 speed A/T - perfect for a daily driver. The Japanese model also comes equipped with a factory altimeter manual idle adjustment and a host of other neat features never offered on the American version. The paint is in great condition for being 25 years old and there are no major dents or dings.
The interior is in similar condition and has been well maintained. The dash is cracks free and without bubbles. All panels show minimal wear, no trim pieces are missing, and the carpet is stain free. The driver seat does have a rip and wear on the outer bolster but otherwise the seats are in good shape. The windows are all power and function properly including the rear glass. The A/C blows cold and the P/S works properly.
The engine and transmission are also in excellent condition. This 2L-T does not suffer from overheating like many do and the 4 speed automatic transmission shifts well. 4WD seems to work properly and switching between HI and LOW is quick and easy. Currently the vehicle has 109k original miles.
Overall a very clean Hilux perfect for street or off road use.
