For sale is my 1990 vw vanagon westy multivan conversion. Price is BEST OFFER! I have a lot of money into this van but I'm open to all offers!
I have owned this van for a few years and have installed a custom interior and replaced a lot of engine parts to make it reliable. It has 178,000 miles on it and will go up as I drive it daily. It gets 19mpg in the city and ive gotten up to 24 mpg cruising long distance at about 65mph. I had the motor taken out and completely gone through 2,000 miles ago before a trip to Canada. I will attach a picture of the repair receipt and call me for any questions on the rebuild. Starts, runs, shifts great, no issues at all. The van had never seen a Michigan winter. The van spent the past 20+ years in Florida and Louisiana where I lived previous to moving to Michigan this year. I have a lot of pictures of the van that I can text or email. The van has a westfalia pop top with thule locking bars, 5 gallon had tank attached to luggage rack(fits perfect) 8 gallon pressurized solar shower, renergy solar panel, sunforce digital solar charge converter, Vmax solar battery, 1,000 watt power converter, flush mount sink with lid, 2 burner propane Stove, truckfridge with freezer ( amazing fridge, keeps things ice cold for ever with the solar panel, will last 2 days without sunlight), cabinets with lots of storage space, swivel passenger seat, pioneer cd player, pioneer speakers, laminate wood floor, I have a power strip wired into the van with a 110 plug in outside to hookup to any power source. Onto the motor. I took the van on 7,000 mile road trip 2 years ago and replaced the alternator, belts, water pump, before the trip. Inner and outer tie rods during the trip. With the past 2,000 miles I put new water jacket seals and a tune up and brought the van to the shop with a intermittent starting issue. At that point the pulled the motor and tightened a loose flywheel I told them to fix anything that needs to be replaced. (Sheet attached) Some not to cool things abiut the van. the rear hatch has a dent from a tree limb, I popped it out but it's still noticeable, didn't effect the seal at all just the looks. Drivers window is stuck up, I think I need a new relay. A/C compressor is removed (it was blowing air but not cold air) Original paint, i like it but it's faded and has rock chips. Other than that it's a sweet van that I would love to keep but i need to invest my money in my business. I'm sure I'm fogreting a lot of things but the van is Solid and drive it daily with no issues. Thanks for looking!
