1991 70 series Landcruiser turbo diesel RTT 25k

We are selling out beloved 70 series named Elvira.

We have owned her for 4 years one year in Japan and three here(Oregon). We have done 6 cross country road trips in her, and just came back from east coast three weeks ago.

Her motor is a 1hz which is factory non-turbo, but we purchased a GT ball bearing Garrett turbo charger and air to water intercooler kits. And she has gone from 8mpg to 21mpg.

She can cruise at 70-75 all day maybe doing 2050 rpms.

When we fitted the turbo setup we went ahead and had the torque converter swapped for a lower rpm with better holding capacity.

My wife Daily drove this vehicle to school and work with maximum dependability. Also the vehicle has amazing off road handling characteristics.

Last year we had the alternator rebuilt and upgraded, has an auto meter turbo pressure and exhaust gas temperature gauge. The vehicle is tuned to run 1050EGT (max) but when you are at 10k feet you may see a bit more.

Has recaro front seats but need to be recovered, super comfy.

Had entire air conditioning system changed to 134, every part and o-ring even a new compressor.

Has some rust on the body in front of both rear wheel wells.

RTT is I-Kamper version 1, with a full wrap around awning.

There are multiple small areas where you can see touch ups or small repair had been made.

We didn’t buy this vehicle to win car shows, we loved her because she would take us away from everything!

Only reason we are considering selling is we have our first kid on the way, and it is time for a change.

we are now in Hawaii and thinking of just buying a sprinter here.

two things: a new front factory grill from cruiser parts is $228(got quote the other day) I would ditch fan setup for air to water.
And i Had forgot that a new air to water pump is needed. Generally the cruiser is at 5-10psi and 7-800 Egt so no needed Right away.
