I have this car for a little over 2 years when I moved to Los Angeles from Vancouver, Canada. I took the ownership from another Canadian. He personally imported it from Japan 2.5 years ago. And we have all the paperwork from Japan, and import documents etc.
I hate to sell it but with crazy work schedule - the car is sitting in the garage most of the time in my LA home. It is never the daily driver and is seldom to see mud at all.
Everything are pretty much original - the previous owner upgraded the wheel with newer G OEM wheels, I put on the new tires and had spent good amount of money to keep the engine in good shape. It has been serviced by Carlos at Lucent Motor, where he grew up with G wagon when his dad has one back them and it is also a personal affection
The link above is posted by him back then and I was the proud owner - there is no change to everything, including the price, which personally I think is a great deal since we also spent few thousands more to upgrade the tires, new exhaust, engine has been tuned up with new piping, heat shield etc.
You need to be Canadian to insure this car - however, it is only 2 years away from 25 years import rule so if you want to keep it for another year and a half you can federalize it.
