Well, it makes me sad to say, but I have decided to sell my 1993 Toyota. I wish I didn't have to, but I have found a Tacoma that I want to buy and need to sell this one first. With that said, if I can't get as much as I need for this one, then I will just keep it and wait. Now on to the truck
1993 Toyota Pickup 22re 5spd 4x4
Just shy of 153,000 miles, but this will go up slowly as it still currently my daily driver. I have owned the truck for 7 years and have put about 54,000 miles on it during that time. It has been my daily driver this whole time and has been very reliable. I have used it for hunting and some light off-roading, but it has not been abused.
Truck is mostly stock. At some point I welded on an used aftermarket muffler from a 2nd gen Tacoma, I don't remember the brand, and dumped the exhaust at the rear axle. Suspension is all factory.
It currently has 33x10.5 BFG KO2s and Toyota alloy wheels that have been painted black. The tires only have about 6,000 miles on them, lots of life left. I also still have the factory wheels that came with the truck. I added a pair of Hella 500s to the front bumper a few years ago.
I also have a color matched ARE canopy with the truck that is not currently on it so I'll add an older pic from this past winter.
The truck is by no means perfect, but it is in really great shape compared to others like it. I still get lots of compliments on it. It has a few small dents and scratches, but nothing huge. The engine has developed a small oil leak that I haven't been able to track done yet, but nothing more than adding a bit of oil in between oil changes. The interior is in good shape as well with just a couple small issues. The door panel material has started to come away on the passenger side and also the headliner has ripped at the back and hangs done some. The bench seat is in really great shape for its age. Most seats in these trucks by this point are torn up and missing lots of foam.
Few things I've had to replace during ownership:
Radiator @109,505
Water Pump @119,186
Thermostat @121,086
Tune up (wires and plugs...) @124,412
Starter @152,283
Fuel filter@152,937
Valve Cover gasket, grommets, and half moons @152,937
I would like to get $8,000 for the truck. I am open to reasonable offers, but like I said if I can't get what I need out of it, then I am perfectly fine with holding on to it and waiting.
*Price drop* $7,000
I am sure I am forgetting something about the truck so feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures. You can message me here, or by phone or email.
