1995 4Runner crawler gets a lot of tube

My crawler / expedition truck has been getting a lot of tube work, in the form of a roll rage (needed as some of you know :Wow1: ) and tube doors.

In addition, a new 2M radio is being installed, a new CB for rare use, and some electrical issues are being fixed. Then FatMat, put everyrhing back together, and I will be ready for Moab. Crawl 4 Christ is about 6 weeks out, so this is the last build before that.

I will be happy to answer any questions and such here, but don't want to double post the entire build.

Thanks, now the radios are getting redone and then rebuilding the interior. I got new sound deadening and padding for the floor and headliner, I just hope I can get it all back in. I really want the clean look.

Well, I am proud to say the tube work, worked. We had a roll over in Moab last week. The 4Runner is dead, as far as body is concerned. A possible buggy build donor is a thought, but no glass remains and no way to get new glass in place. RIP to the great rock rig, and PRAISE GOD the cage kept us all safe. Story at ucora.org.

Pics are on someone else's camera, still trying to get them. But yes, unless I can straighten the a-pillar frame there is no possibility of getting a windshield back in. So street legality is gone.

The top heavy nature of the soft suspension was my doom. Want to rebuild it as a buggy, wider, and lower.

Well, I only went over one time, but I nearly did that on Potato Salad Hill the day prior to my roll, so yeah, sort of.

If I could get a windshield to fit, I would back half it, but pretty wavy on the glass frame, so doubtful.
