1995 Land Rover Discovery

Holland

Observer
Greetings. I'm putting up my 1995 D1 for sale as I no longer have a place for it and it needs a new loving home.

I bought her a couple years ago to go exploring in, but alas, life has caught up and I don't go out much anymore. It has 178k on the clock and is a solid runner. It's a trail truck for sure, cosmetically far from perfect. I have put a lot of love into her but she needs more love still. Here is a list of some things done:

2" Rovertym lift with rear trailing arms
Fresh rubber bushings throughout
New ball joints
New cooling system including a 3 row brass radiator
Recently done plugs and filters
Lots of small trim fixes.

It's a solid running rig with loads of character, I fell in love with the truck.

Cons: It does have a warm idle issue. Idle will slowly drop, intermittently, so at times I do have to feather the throttle

Steering box leaks more than the average rover

It has a new drivers window regulator, but needs the motor

It needs a new ignition lock cylinder. Someone tried to steal it and thought a screwdriver was a good idea. The key will still turn it, but not without resistance.

There is a little bit of clunk from the transfer case. I always deemed it normal.

Those are really the only pressing issues. It runs strong and shifts smooth. Does not have any cooling issues and runs cold all day.

For price, I'm looking for $2,000 obo, and I stress obo! It needs a good home the sooner the better so I'm willing to take a reasonable offer! Truck is in Phoenix currently, but I'm more than willing to drive her up to Prescott.

Thanks for looking and have a nice day!
