I picked this guy up about 30 days ago, just got it registered I have since pulled the bed off got to replace all the brake lines, fuel tank leaks, shocks are garbage and yea that’s about it. Other than the horrible 20” wheels have to go. But truck runs drives A/C is cold everything works as designed. Body and frame are solid from what I have seen so far. I have been considering doing a off road flat bed something like AEV runs on their trucks. But the bed on the truck is basically perfect.

Looks like a nice clean truck. Love that bodystyle. I'd just put a FWC or something on it and go!

Probably not, just can’t decide. I have a new teardrop trailer so I really am good on storage. Hopefully my JKU sells soon and I will have some funds open up for the truck. I am not looking to invest any a lot of money in accessories, I over built my Jeep something serious and am gonna loose my ass but is what it is.

Nice solid platform to build your next adventure rig! Love that body style of Ford. I like the idea of a custom flatbed...Cheers, AV

Awesome another OBS! Mine is the same single cab short bed as yours and I love it. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.

Going to be basic, the more I look into it the more I am thinking keep the original bed. Paint is in great shape going to have the clear coat re done and a little touch up. My plan was this being a 2 year truck something to just get around with but for the cost of it and the condition I wanna keep it a while..

With the bed off frame is in good shape, front spring hangers look good. Rear spring hangers are no good, cross members are ruff but can be saved going to be doing a lot of blasting here quickly.

Recommendations for a good frame paint/rust eliminator? Looking at Eastwood $188 a gallon but if it is sprayable and as good as it reads I will pay that I only wanna do this once.

Removed the fuel tank hole was in the bottom of the tank at the strap, going to order a new polly tank. Also removed the rear spring hangers they were really bad.
