Expedition Leader
Rare Low Mileage, 4x4, RV
4x4 conversion done by Salem Kroger (now known as Whitefeather) , DOT plaque from the shop on it. It was originally used by the Sheriff/ King County Search and Rescue as a communication/logistics vehicle.
Winnebago RV, the box measures 17' floor length, 25' overall.
Triton v10 gas, with 35k miles (original).
Well maintained, county maintenance through 25k miles.
This has been our family ski camping truck for a number of years now. It has never given us any issues. Always really warm, dependable, and drives well. We just used it in January 2017 in British Columbia- everything was in working order. We have purchased a new ski truck so it's time for this one to move on.
Details:
· 4x4 using F350 transfer case, and Dana 60 front axle, 4hi and 4lo, manual hubs.
· One cab over bed, one bed in back, dinette converts to a twin sized as well.
· Passenger seat on a swivel to face living area.
· Nice/clean kitchen with microwave, 3 burner gas stove, sink, and fridge (everything works well).
· 6 gallon propane tank, we get a week easy in cold weather camping. Also has valve to hook up to a standard BBQ tank for extended use or emergencies.
· Two water tanks under the dinette seats roughly 25 gallons each, should be Ok for winter, but we didn't use them.
· Hot water is propane and 120v if the generator is on (has not been used lately)
· Powerful- 7kw Onan generator, feeds from main gas tank
· 90amp heartline inverter charger.
· 50 gallon gas tank, gives about a 400 miles range.
· 40k BTU propane furnace--keeps it very warm
· 5 CF fridge W/ freezer, 120/12v only
· HWH hydraulic levelers on all 4 corners, can lift the tires off the ground for tire changes as well.
· 2 batteries in an exterior compartment (one year old), 86AH each, two nice sealed AGM batteries inside 100ah each.
· Two 100 Watt Solar panels on the roof.
· 1.5" IPD sway bars front and rear.
· New front brake calipers and pads 2013
· New front Wheel bearings 2016
· Most lights are led, led scene lights on the exterior
· Awnings on both sides (large), with aluminum protectors.
· Full bath, shower has never been used
· 40" LED light bar on front bumper.
· Led tail/brake lights.
· All seams have been sealed with Eternabond tape.
· Tires have substantial tread left. Fronts are Toyo AT II's new as of ~2k miles ago.
· Has only a black tank, sink drains to that as well.
It's a 20 year old truck, it has some issues:
· There were water leaks at some time; it has some delamination in places. I re-epoxied the worst areas and it has not seemed to get worse. All the seams were sealed with Eternabond tape to prevent further leaks.
· Also it leaked around the AC unit prior to us purchasing it, we removed the leaking AC unit and leaking has stopped.
· The shift cable needs adjustment, it goes into gear fine but the indicator is weird, D is where N is etc.
· Generator needs to be started externally only, the fuel pump has been re wired to an external switch as the original wiring failed. Still runs just fine.
· Consider obtaining new rear tires, they are re-treads, still very new, but get some tread squirm on the highway.
SOLD
